Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) was established in 1814 and is a federal university that comprises of 9 faculties. Altai state medical university

Altai State Medical University was founded in 1954. The University is located in Barnaul, Russia. Barnaul is the administrative center of Altai Krai,located along the Ob River in the West Siberian Plain. At the end of 2014, the city had a population of around 700,000 people.The establisher of the University is the Russian Federation. Full powers of the establisher conducts the Ministry of Health of Russia. Altai State Medical University is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. It is a state-financed organization, established in accordance with the applicable Laws of the Russian Federation.

In 1975, the Institute added pharmaceutical faculty that progressively grows, and in 1998 at the Faculty of powerful office opened Distance learning.

In 1990, the first students took the Dental Faculty. What is more, in 2002 opened a University Dental Clinic, and there has been developed the most advanced technology of dental restoration. The University is rapidly developing and increasing the volume of training.

Northern State Medical University (Arkhangelsk, Russia)

About UniversityNSMU was established in 1932 for training medical personnel in the European North of Russia. It currently hosts about 9000 students from 17 countries in 16 faculties and institutes and has a staff of 980, 394 of which are academics – including 80 professors, 250 PhD.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Nowadays, BSMU Clinic is a unique medical institution, a teaching, medical and scientific base of Bashkir State Medical University.

The Clinic has 650 beds. Over 20 thousand patients from around Russia get treatment, more than 8 thousand perations are performed, and about 3 thousand babies are annually delivered here. Surgeons of the BSMU Clinic perform the following high-tech surgeries: liver and pancreas resections, stomach and small intestine reconstructive surgeries, all types of thoracoscopic surgeries, brachytherapy, coronary artery stent surgeries. Various techniques of angiographic studies and manipulations on all types of vessels, bile ducts, liver chemoembolization in growths, and uterine arteries embolization in fibromyoma arc involved in medical practice. The Clinic uses techniques of minimally invasive and transplantation surgery.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

With 69 departments, with over 5 thousand Russian and foreign students, is proud to have history of educating international students from the UK, the USA, Portugal, Argentina, Australia, Sweden, Greece, Israel, India, Jordan, Iran, Yemen, Cameroon, Cyprus, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, etc. The office of Foreign Students coordinates the training of foreign students in BSMU and is responsible for admission, registration and managing the Preparatory and Russian Language courses. BSMU participate in bilateral exchanges of medical students within the International Federation of Medical Students Association Program.

Students Life

Bashkir University has five hostels which can accommodate 2000 students. hostels are flat type i.e. with attached kitchen, toilet and bathroom. All hostels are well furnished and fully air. The basic system is two or three students in one room. Internet facilities available in hostels Students can get Indian food at the canteen of the hostel and foreign TV channels (Hindi, Tamil etc.) are also available. All the hostels are well guarded with police security. Bed linen is changed once in a week and hostel is cleaned once every day. BSMU organizes cultural programs every year in which students from various countries of the world take part. The Indian student association celebrates Indian festivals like Diwali, Holi, Baisakhi etc. every year. BSMU also organizes tournaments like table tennis, International tournaments of Cricket, Football, Basketball, and Badminton etc. Bashkir university  library has more than 500000 books, 85% is the special medical literature. Library has 4 specialized reading halls with 252 seats, local net and electronic catalogue which makes possible with an access to many databases.

China Three Gorges University (CTGU) is located in Yichang City, Hubei province, China. The university is located at the mouth of the Xiling Gorge, one of the Three Gorges.

History

CTGU is a comprehensive university established on June 29, 2000 after the merger of the University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering at Yichang, Hubei Sanxia University, and a medical college founded in 1946.

Present

CTGU is famous for its influence in hydroelectric engineering and electrical engineering. Since 2012, CTGU have recruited over 23,299 full-time undergraduates, 2,040 postgraduate and 894 foreign students. Instituting a group of key subjects (key laboratories) at the provincial and state level, and doctoral and master programs, CTGU is becoming a rising star among thousands of Chinese University.
